My friends know me as the Apple fan. I am a tech enthusiast who loves to study Apple’s history, learn about new products and discover new features in existing products.

Engaging in conversations with people around the world from all walks of life, people who are far wiser and more experienced than me, brings me joy.

Cooking 🧑‍🍳

Cooking is my creative outlet. I enjoy finding out about new recipes I can try at home. I’ve made deviled eggs, grilled cheese, seared steak, mac’n’cheese, ect. I love playing my part in the cooking process and getting to savor the food I put my effort into making. If I’m cooking for my family, it’s the smiles on their faces that bring me joy.

Music 🎶

I listen to music nearly every day. My favorite genres is electro swing, but I am always exploring others styles as well. Recently, a friend suggested I take a look at progressive rock. I am now a fan of Yes and Supertramp.

My favorite streaming app is Apple Music, but I would like to buy some of my favorite songs on iTunes one day.

Family 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

I was raised to value my family above all else. I cherish the time I spend with them while they’re still alive, especially the elderly or those who live far away.

Fun fact: For every house out there that is occupied by a family member, I like to assign the name of a planet from Star Wars. The idea came from my own uncle, a Star Wars fan who calls his house “Takodana”. I call my family’s house “Bogano”, but I have also assigned “Coruscant”, “Mandalore”, and “Tatooine” to other locations.

Photography 📸

I love bringing out my iPhone and capturing special moments that are being shared with friends or family. I want to keep documenting significant events in my life that I can revisit when I grow older.

Side note: If I ever share you such a photo or video, know that I abhor any form of media compression. I think it is a sin when instant messaging services refuse to make this a DEFAULT feature. This is why iMessage comes out on top for me as the single best messaging service on the planet.

Memes 😀

Yes. Memes ! I use memes as a way of immortalizing significant moments being spent with friends or online communities. All of my memes are made in Procreate for iPad where I write the text by hand.

Mistakes 🤪

As Dale Carnegie once said, “The successful man will profit from his mistakes and try again in a different way.” I find no pleasure in making mistakes, but I sure can appreciate the life lessons being taught as a result. I owe it to Auntie and Uncle Takodana for jumpstarting my personal growth and pointing out many of my bad habits. They were even kind enough to give me their copy of “How to win friends and influence people”.
